The BSR residency was exceedingly fortuitous for me and this can be observed from tangible examples like the exhibitions I had held outside of the BSR itself during the residency. My works were shown to new groups of audiences in Milan, Pescara, Tuscany, and Basel. The inspirations drawn from Rome and the BSR will continue to influence my work, without doubt, in the long future. One is told that “the experience at the BSR will be life-changing”; however, it is only when we are actually situated in the setting do we then realise the gravity of that statement.
