On arrival at the BSR I made a wall painting for the show, ‘The Producers’. After discussion with the other artists, I decided I would be able to make this piece within 3 days. I went on to make 10 paintings on panel: birch plywood and MDF. 6 of those works were shipped to a fair in Basel and the rest remained at the BSR and were exhibited at the final show, Fountains and Drains. For that show I made another wall painting, onto which those 4 paintings were shown, thus developing my practice on the wall and on panel, and continuing to focus on the relation and tension between these surfaces. My experience at the BSR was invaluable to my practice and development of these ideas
