I worked with a local foundry, and enjoyed sourcing materials in Roman shops and markets. Staff were resourceful in their advice and flexible with their broad knowledge of shops, manufacturers etc.
The contemporary art foundation Fondazione Memmo invited me to participate in a TEDx conference held at the Palazzo Ruspoli as they knew I was residing at the British School.  The tranquility of my live-work studio was a great environment to research and prepare my goofy talk.
