My experience at the BSR was intense, positive and way beyond my expectation, the warm studio and great windows and light was amazing, I actually had a ball creatively. The work I showed in the March Mostra was work I could not have envisaged making prior to being there.
I discovered makers and spoke to people whose ancestors were born elsewhere, I witnessed colours I’ve never seen, I was stimulated by challenging conversations with brilliant young people (a few older ones too) in the strange times we live and I left hopeful for the future.
