A temporary mural installation for Pallant House Gallery, Chichester.

Commissioned by Pallant House Gallery - a Queen Anne town house dating from 1712, Susie MacMurray created a site-specific installation in the stairwell using 20,000 opened mussel shells, each holding a scrap of red velvet. The installation was on show for a year from 2006-7.
